Community Invited to Attend Discussion About Palliative and Hospice Care

As part of National Hospice and Palliative Care Month, Ohio’s Hospice and Pure Healthcare are inviting the community to learn more about hospice and palliative care at two educational sessions on Nov. 7 and Nov. 14.

Carey Short of Ohio’s Hospice will lead a discussion about palliative and hospice care. The session, “Palliative vs. Hospice,” will address the differences and similarities of palliative and hospice care. She also will discuss when an individual may need palliative and hospice care.

The Nov. 7 event will be held from 4-5 pm at Kettering Health Years Ahead in Centerville (6661 Clyo Rd., Centerville, OH 45459). While the presentation is free, space is limited.
